Questions
Everything you need to know before reaching out. Can't find your answer here? Just send me a message directly.
Are you currently available for new projects?
Yes — I'm actively taking on new work. I have capacity for both short-term freelance engagements and longer-term contract or full-time roles. My schedule fills up quickly, so I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later to discuss your timeline and needs.
What types of engagements do you prefer?
I thrive in product-focused environments where I can contribute meaningfully to architecture and user experience. I enjoy full-stack web development, technical consulting, and building MVPs from the ground up. I'm equally comfortable working solo or embedded within an existing engineering team.
How quickly do you typically respond?
I aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours on business days — often much sooner. For urgent inquiries, email is your best bet. I check messages in the morning and evening Pacific Time, so you can expect a thoughtful reply rather than a rushed one.
What's your preferred tech stack?
My core stack is React and TypeScript on the frontend, with Node.js, Go, or Python on the backend. I'm experienced with PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP. That said, I adapt to the right tool for the job — I'm not dogmatic about technology choices and enjoy learning new stacks when the project calls for it.
Are you open to relocation or on-site work?
I'm primarily remote-first and have built a highly effective async workflow over the years. I'm open to hybrid arrangements for the right opportunity in the San Francisco Bay Area. For fully on-site roles outside the Bay Area, I'd consider relocation for exceptional opportunities — let's talk and see if it's a mutual fit.
